Sightseeing arround Tromsoe by boat

What is the best way to spend in the arctic sun in Tromsoe? Also, celebrating your birthday. Rent a boat!

With parents coming all the way from Germany and the weather forecast alerted a most welcomed day with sun and no wind. The choice of renting a boat to explore the magnificent nature outside of Tromsoe is easy to make.

They set out from Steinnes Marina, drove towards Risøya with a lunch break at the docks at Musvær.

As the boat owner with mostly focus on fishing, I also got an eye opener, there are so many great places to anchor up, visit and just relax. Undisturbed, watching seaguls, whales etc. All the little things that goes unoticed being a local and used to.

I can only imagine the great experience this is, coming from a town with houndreds of thousand people and limited access to complete silence.
